Technology Bloggers hours before its launch

On the 24th of March, I purchased the domain name TechnologyBloggers.org with the intention of creating a new, community based, technology blog. After a few weeks of behind the scenes 'building', the blog was ready for launch, and on Wednesday the 13th of March 2011, Technology Bloggers went live!

Technology Bloggers has grown exponentially. Now with over 50 different writers, the blog attracts over ten thousand unique visitors, every month - sometimes the figure is in excess of fifteen thousand.

Technology Bloggers initial niche was technology. The core area of writing is still largely focused around the technology niche, with the technology category supporting the greatest number of posts; however blogging, business, computing, science and the environment (among others) are now also topics with growing popularity, that are covered by the blog.

The blog posts reviews, how to guides, information, writers views on current affairs, along with more light hearted content such as fun/festive articles; it has even hosted numerous successful competitions.
